Nutrien has been using the Rudolph Research refractometer / autosampler combination for many years. We have two first generation ECS / ASX 1400 models and have just purchased an newer R837 model.
The instruments are setup to use our specific tubes that are from another part of the process, this avoids moving samples from tube to tube thus speeding up laboratory workflows and an eliminating an error prone step.
Overall, the Rudolph systems have served us well as evidenced by that fact that we continue to purchase more of them as the need arises.
