Rudolph ceramic quartz cells are made from Alumina, the most well-known fine ceramic material for chemical and physical stability. The thermal properties of Alumina are high heat resistance and high thermal conductivity. Other properties of Alumina are high electrical insulation, high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. Alumina has a chemical composition similar to sapphire.
Ceramic cells have a lifetime warranty and resist strong acids like HCl.
