I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved with the purchase, installation and qualification of our new Autopol V Polarimeter. I had researched several manufacturers / vendors in reguard to the purchase of an automated polarimeter for our QC Chemistry lab.After careful consideration, I selected Rudolph Research Analytical and the Autopol V Polarimeter. There were several factors involved in my decision. The primary reason for my choosing Rudolph Research was the fact that the instrument is available with a simple to use N.I.S.T traceable QCP (Quartz Control Plate) which allows our analysts to perform a wavelength calibration verification prior to use. It literally takes about two minutes to perform a verification evaluation and gives us a high degree of assurance that the instrument is functioning properly prior to  analysis. Sample analysis is also very easy, accurate and fast. The other features that I especially like are the simple to us and extremely intuitive main screen, the TempTrol constant temperature control and the ability to enable 21CFR Part11 compliance features. Calibration using the QCP and the temperature calibration chambers are simple as well. All in all, the instrument is well built and in my opinion an extremely accurate and reliable system. I would recommend the instrument for any lab wanting a compliant, accurate and easy to use polarimeter. From my first contact with Rudolph  Research Analytical to the final installation , qualifications and training, the company has been exemplary in providing what we asked for and in meeting our needs.
