Step 4: Connecting the Electrode Cable to the pH Meter

Step 4. Connecting the electric cable to the pH meter.

Attaching the electrode to the meter is quick and easy.

All connection ports are located on the back of the device.

Locate the USB port on the back of the meter.

Take the largest gray cable and firmly plug it into this port.

Find the temperature points located just to the right of the AC port.

Insert the red wire into the red temperature port.

Insert the black wire into the black temperature port.

Connect the 12 volt DC cable into the port located all the way to the right of the instrument.

For the final connection, attach the USB to serial cable to the ten mil modem cable.

Next, connect the non modem cable to the back of the instrument.

It’s important to use the non modem cable because it ensures proper communication
by matching.

Transmit to transmit and receive to receive as specified by the manufacturer.

Ensure all connections are secure before proceeding to the next step.
