Gentlemen:
We have seven Rudolph Research Analytical Automatic Polarimeters here at Schering Plough’s Union, New Jersey facility and have had a Rudolph Research Analytical Automatic Polarimeter in our General Analytical Lab since 1988. We are very pleased with the performance of this equipment. In 1997 after evaluating various Automatic Polarimeters from well known manufacturers, we purchased a new Autopol IV Six Wavelength with 325nm from Rudolph Research Analytical. The Autopol IV/6W-325’s multiple wavelength capability, 200 mm optical pathlength facility and industry leading accuracy were deciding factors in our decision to purchase the Autopol IV. Rudolph’s NIST Traceable Calibration Standards and built-in temperature correction for quartz make our calibration procedure easy and straightforward to perform. We have the instrument connected to a standard size printer, which allows us to print all of our results on a GLP approved paper size. Over all, the instrument has been trouble free, exceptionally stable and accurate, as well as easy to use. I highly recommend the instrument.
Sincerely,
James Clark
