I wanted to take a moment to thank you, Julio, Rich, and the whole team at Rudolph for your excellent service, dedication to our satisfaction, and your attention to detail.
Back in early 2019 we evaluated the landscape and quickly chose the DDM2911+ with Refractometer (AlcoTest-RI) for gauging alcohol content of our many different distilled spirits products. From lightly to heavily sugared liqueurs, dark rums to vodka and whiskey too – we use the instrument daily and it is invaluable in meeting our regulatory requirements without major cost or time impacts to the business.
I have found the accuracy and reproducibility to meet and even exceed published specifications when the instrument is operated correctly.
The possibility to use the Refractometer mode to legally eliminate some bench distillation requirements, with a TTB waiver, is another very interesting boon provided by the AlcoTest-RI.
I wholeheartedly recommend Rudolph Research to anyone in need of one of their instruments. They are my favorite vendor by far.
