As I conveyed in our phone conversation, we’ve been pleased with the operation of the AlITOPOL 880. After fixing the initial problem5 with our unit, it has worked ftawlessly. The only .. event” that occurred was the bulb went out. Changing out the bulb was very simple and easy. The biggest difference I’ve seen having the 880 is how stable the readings are even with dark samples. There is no guessing at the final answer. Another fearure that has been useful is the cah’bntion procedure. We are able to perform quality control checks using NIST traceable standards. The unit has been holding its calibration consistently. Again, we’ve been very happy with the 880.
