We have been using the Rudolph Research Autopol IV Polarimeter in the General Analytical lab in Pearl River since November 1996, and we are very pleased with its performance. The calibration procedure is straight-forward and easy to perform. The temperature correction feature makes checks for system suitability, with NIST traceable quartz plates, quick and accurate. We have the instrument connected to a printer, so we are now able to obtain a hard copy of sample measurements. Overall, the instrument has been trouble-free and easy to use. Combined with the excellent customer service provided to me by Rudolph Research on every occasion I have contacted them, I highly recommend the instrument.
